Improvement of Cattle Production in Azerbaijan through Establishment of Effective Cattle Breeding and Feeding Systems

Improved and sustainable livestock production is a national priority for agricultural development, and animal breeding and feeding are necessary components of this. The proposed intervention will contribute to improving cattle productivity and farmers’ income by strengthening the organizational structures and quality of AI and ET services.

One of the project components is to improve livestock husbandry and breeding management in the selected areas. Sustainera is conducting research to achieve the best results, and to develop the best approach a thorough data collection. This will help to identify the most relevant problems in cattle production.
