External evaluation 21st Century Teacher Program

Sustainera assisted the American Councils for International Education for the design and implementation of an external evaluation of its “21 st Century Teacher Program” funded by the

US Embassy/ PAS. The evaluation helped the American Councils to better understand the effectiveness (success) of the program, and, based on lessons learned, outline priority directions, type of mechanisms, nature and scope of possible future interventions to further support access to English language in Azerbaijan.

The evaluation process involved research with particular emphasis on the needs assessment of teachers and students regarting the teaching and learning methods, while provided strategic recommendations for the curriculum designers.
